The Gore School of Business 25th Anniversary: Entrepreneurial Showcase
Cranium Cafe was recently be highlighted at Westminster College’s 25th Anniversary of the Gore School of Business on September 19, 2013. The Cranium Cafe team presented their micromeeting software The Cafe to hundreds of attendees representing higher education, technology firms, and more.
The showcase included fellow Westminster graduates and current student entrepreneurs showcasing their start-up companies. Attendees included Salt Lake City business elite, members of the press, Westminster head administrators, and a few students looking for free cookies. It was a whirlwind of new acquaintances meeting face-to-face for the first time, old classmates reuniting, and curious passersby, while demonstrating the Cafe to the groupings of attendees at our table.
Cranium Cafe enables communication between students and the entire academic support team within an LMS via live online meetings seamlessly integrated into LTI enabled platforms. Micromeetings are ideal for tutoring and academic advising, but also for communication outside an LMS, e.g. connecting new students with recruiters and financial aid advisors.
“The showcase was an excellent opportunity to show the Westminster community and our fellow alumni how our product can enhance the learning experience of current students,” said Tracy Gorham, CEO of Cranium Cafe. “I would like to extend a special thank you to Linda Muir, Director of the Institute New Enterprise, for our attendance at the showcase.”
Cranium Cafe is currently in its Early Adopters phase and is ready to be implemented in your institution. For more information, visit https://blog.conexed.com/.
